Scope

This part of GB/T 5754 specifies the method for determining the elongation of the steel wire rope in the core of steel wire rope conveyor belts. During the determination, the steel wire rope is subjected to tensile stress corresponding to 10% and 60% of the specified tensile strength. This part is only applicable to steel wire rope conveyor belts. Note: The method for determining the tensile strength is specified in GB/T 5754.2.
