Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for controlled photodegradable polyethylene agricultural mulch films. This standard applies to controlled photodegradable agricultural mulch films produced by blow molding using low-density polyethylene resin (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene resin (LLDPE), high-density polyethylene resin (HDPE), or a blend of the above two or three resins, combined with an appropriate amount of photodegradable components.
