Scope

This part of YY/T 0727 specifies the metal medical devices used for temporary fixation of long bones by surgical implantation, giving the classification, size specifications, and other requirements of intramedullary nail insertion and removal devices, and also providing the measurement method for the diameter of the medullary dilator.
This part is applicable to all metal intramedullary fixation devices used for temporary fixation of human long bones.
This part is not applicable to the screw joint parts of locking components.
