Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of organic volatile substances in fluffy fiber products using headspace sampler (HS) solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
This standard is applicable to the determination of the total organic volatile matter, total aromatic hydrocarbon compounds, and the contents of vinyl chloride, 1,3-butadiene, toluene, vinyl cyclohexene, styrene, and 4-phenylcyclohexene in fluffy fiber products.
