Scope

This standard specifies the physical layer specifications for interference-resistant low-speed wireless personal area networks in the frequency bands of 174 MHz to 216 MHz, 407 MHz to 425 MHz, and 608 MHz to 630 MHz, including general physical layer requirements and O-QPSK and GFSK physical layer requirements.
This standard is applicable to the development and design of biomedical telemetry devices operating in the frequency bands of 174 MHz to 216 MHz, 407 MHz to 425 MHz, and 608 MHz to 630 MHz.
