Scope

This standard specifies the principles and methods of certification audits for the management of breeding of precious and endangered wild animals in production and operation, audit activities, audit acceptance, audit initiation, audit implementation, audit content, audit findings, audit conclusions, audit reports, audit completion, and general requirements for audit supervision and recertification audits.
This standard applies to certification bodies conducting certification audits of wild animal breeding management systems in accordance with LY/T 2279—2014. Wild animal production and operation units that establish and implement wild animal breeding management systems in accordance with LY/T 2279—2014 may also refer to this standard for internal audits. Other relevant stakeholders may also refer to this standard to confirm the compliance of wild animal breeding management systems.
