This standard specifies the media access control and physical layer requirements for short-range wireless connections of fixed, handheld, and mobile station devices in the Q-band spectrum within the frequency ranges of 42.3 GHz to 47 GHz and 47.2 GHz to 48.4 GHz (hereinafter referred to as 45 GHz).
This standard applies to the design and development of devices operating in the frequency ranges of 42.3 GHz to 47 GHz and 47.2 GHz to 48.4 GHz.
