Scope

This document specifies the dimensions, wire resistance, and quality of single-core copper conductor cables rated at 600 V, with a maximum frequency of 2,000 Hz, a continuous operating temperature not exceeding 280°C (ambient temperature plus wire temperature rise), but capable of withstanding 400°C for a limited period of time. Under a 1,100°C flame for 5 minutes, the cable will maintain a certain level of dielectric strength.
