Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for infrared thermography in on-site inspections of construction projects.
This standard is applicable to on-site inspections using infrared thermography for detecting the quality of adhesive bonding of wet-process finishing materials on building exterior walls, thermal defects in building envelopes, roof leaks, air tightness of building envelopes, surface defects of large-scale concrete structures in port projects, damage to industrial equipment linings, verification of the thermal insulation effect of industrial equipment, and the quality of highway asphalt pavement construction, among other aspects of construction project quality assurance.
