Scope

This document describes the test instructions, test methods, and test reports for the mechanical automatic tensioning wheel (hereinafter referred to as "tensioning wheel") of the engine accessory drive system. The test methods mainly include high-temperature durability test, cold-and-hot impact durability test, corrosion test, pollution test, lifting test, ozone resistance test, drop test, and emergency torsion test.
This document is applicable to mechanical automatic tensioning wheels used in engines, but not to tensioning wheels with wheels or bearings, linear tensioning wheels, or bidirectional tensioning wheels.
