Scope

This section specifies the basic requirements for 7:24 taper-shaft milling cutter rods with end key drive, including their type and dimensions, materials and hardness, marking, labeling, and packaging. This section applies to milling cutter rods with a 7:24 manual tool change taper-shaft, as well as those with an A-type and U-type automatic tool change 7:24 taper-shaft tool handle. However, it does not apply to milling cutter rods with a J-type automatic tool change 7:24 taper-shaft tool handle.
