Scope

This document specifies the acceptance level for phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) of fully penetrated welded joints of ferritic steel with a base metal thickness of not less than 6 mm, based on the weld quality grades established in ISO 5817.
The acceptance level specified in this document applies to the indication classification specified in ISO 13588.
