Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of unsaturated polyester resin buttons (hereinafter referred to as polyester buttons).
This standard applies to buttons made from unsaturated polyester resin as the main raw material, with the addition of appropriate additives, which are gelled and cured in specific equipment and molds to form pearlescent or non-pearlescent boards and rods, and then processed by mechanical methods.
This standard does not apply to polyester buttons that are dyed after molding.
