Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and contract (or order form) content for magnesium fluoride.
This standard applies to magnesium fluoride used as additives in the production of electrolytic aluminum and fluxes in the production of magnesium metal. Magnesium fluoride used in high-tech fields such as optical lens coating, titanium pigment coating, cathode ray tube fluorescent materials, advanced ceramics, glass, and fluorochemical raw materials can also refer to and implement this standard.
