Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of six phthalate ester compounds in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of six phthalate ester compounds in soil and sediments, including dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and dodecyl phthalate (DNOP). Other phthalate ester compounds can also be determined by this method after verification. When the sampling quantity is 10.0 g, the extraction volume is 20.0 ml, and the injection volume is 1.0 μl, the detection limit of the method for determining phthalate ester compounds in this standard is 0.02 mg/kg to 0.05 mg/kg, and the determination limit is 0.08 mg/kg to 0.20 mg/kg.
