Scope
This document specifies the principles, equipment, reagents, laboratory environmental requirements, operating procedures, and precautions for the physical developer solution technique for revealing fingerprints.
This document is applicable to the revealing of (oily) fingerprints on the surfaces of permeable evidence items, especially those on the surfaces of permeable evidence items that are waterlogged, damp, or aged and contain oily substances.
