Scope

This standard specifies a method for plotting the solubility of anionic surfactants in water as a function of temperature, thereby determining their solubility at a given temperature.
This standard applies to pure surfactants, as well as industrial products and liquid anionic surfactant mixtures, provided that the solutions of these products are clear and transparent, with not too deep a color.
The solubility curves obtained from pure products can be used to determine the Krafft temperature.
