Scope

This part of GB/T 16284 defines the overall system and services for EDI message processing. Other aspects of message processing systems and services are specified in other parts of GB/T 16284. Table 1 of ISO/IEC 100211:1999 provides a standardized layout for message processing systems and services. The ITUT F.400 series of recommendations specifies the establishment of public services based on MHS and the access to these services. This part specifies the technical aspects of MHS. ISO/IEC 100212:1999 recommends a comprehensive system architecture for MHS. ISO/IEC 100219:1999 prescribes the technical aspects of EDI message processing.
