Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the bromine content in bromine-containing organic flame retardant chemicals by using the oxygen bomb combustion ion-selective electrode method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of bromine content in bromine-containing organic flame retardant chemicals.
This standard is not applicable to the insoluble bromides present in bromine-containing organic flame retardant chemicals or those generated during the combustion process.
