Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and other carbonyl compounds in adhesive products using the bag method.
This standard is applicable to measuring the release of non-polar and weakly polar volatile organic compounds between n-C6 and n-C16 (coated release and residual release). The measured concentrations of VOCs, formaldehyde, and other carbonyl compounds range from μg/m3 to mg/m3.
