Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the public information guidance system of public cultural facilities, the composition of the guidance system, general principles, the design of guidance elements, peripheral introduction systems, service guidance systems, and the requirements of exit systems. This standard applies to the planning, design, and installation of public information guidance systems in public cultural facilities such as libraries, museums, cultural centers, art galleries, cultural stations, cultural rooms, and village (community) comprehensive cultural service centers. Other public cultural facilities are encouraged to refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
