Scope

This standard specifies the technical specifications for the quotation (bidding stage) and ordering of injection molds. The standard provides requirements for material procurement, equipment and injection mold structure (including surface) design, and stipulates the parameters of specialized equipment, operating methods, and warranty provisions. This standard does not apply to compression molds and die-casting molds.
