Scope

This standard specifies the appraisal content, appraisal procedures, appraisal (evaluation) methods, test methods, and report formats for micro-hydropower generation equipment with a rated power of 10kW or less (hereinafter referred to as micro-hydropower). This standard applies to scientific research appraisals, new product appraisals, and promotion appraisals of micro-hydropower. Hydropower generation equipment that operates independently off the grid with a power output of more than 10kW can refer to this standard for implementation.
