Scope

This document applies to fluorescence oxygen analyzers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") used for continuously measuring the partial pressure or concentration of dissolved oxygen in liquids. The instrument is suitable for measuring ultra-pure water, fresh water, drinking water, seawater, industrial or municipal wastewater, and liquids in industrial processes. This document does not apply to instruments that detect oxygen in gases based on fluorescence methods. The instrument sensor unit in contact with the measured medium contains a light-emitting body with a polymer membrane permeable to oxygen or a light-emitting body containing other oxygen-permeable materials (or matrices). This document specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods for the instrument. This document is consistent with the provisions of GB/T 6592-2010 and IEC 60770. This document applies to instruments based on online measurement technology and permanently installed indoors or outdoors. Safety requirements comply with IEC 61010-1. For the standard range of simulated DC current signals in process control systems, refer to IEC 60381-1. For methods of selecting influencing quantity test values, refer to the relevant provisions of IEC 60654. For requirements on the preparation of instrument user manuals, refer to IEC 61187.
