Scope
This document describes the principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, experimental steps, data processing, precision and accuracy, quality assurance and control, and test reports for determining the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide content in hydrogen used in proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles by gas chromatography coupled with a helium ionization detector. This document is applicable to the determination of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide content in hydrogen used in proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles. For other purposes where the hydrogen content falls within the range specified in this document, the determination of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide content should be carried out in accordance with this document. The range for carbon monoxide determination is 0.05 μmol/mol to 10.0 μmol/mol; the range for carbon dioxide determination is 0.05 μmol/mol to 10.0 μmol/mol.
