T/NAASS 063-2023 Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation District Corn Nitrogen and Phosphorus Leaching Prevention and Control Technical Regulations
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terminology, definitions, and key technical points for preventing and controlling nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in corn fields in the Yinshan irrigation area of Ningxia, as well as other management measures. This document applies to the prevention and control of nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in corn fields in the Yinshan irrigation area of Ningxia. Main technical content: 3 Terminology and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. Nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in corn fields refers to the process where nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil are leached out of the corn root zone through irrigation and fertilization. Source control technology: Determines the total nutrient demand based on the target yield of corn and controls fertilizer input, effectively controlling nitrogen and phosphorus leaching from the source. Process blocking technology: Effectively blocks nitrogen and phosphorus leaching during the growth of corn through techniques such as water-saving irrigation, nitrogen fertilizer reduction, and full mechanization of agricultural machinery and farming. End-of-process treatment technology: Effectively blocks nitrogen and phosphorus leaching after corn harvest through measures such as returning straw to the field, mechanical deep tillage, and controlling winter irrigation water volume. 4 Nitrogen and phosphorus leaching prevention and control technology in corn fields Winter irrigation and the first fertilization after irrigation are the peak periods of nitrogen and phosphorus leaching in corn fields. By controlling irrigation and fertilizer application amounts, improving water and fertilizer utilization efficiency, and reducing nitrogen and phosphorus leaching, the following measures are taken: 4.1 Source control technology 4.1.1 Fertilizer reduction control Fertilizer application is controlled according to the principle of "reducing nitrogen and controlling pho
