Scope
Main technical contents: 1. Harvesting techniques must meet the requirements of the DB65/T 3503 standard for Aksu ice-sugar-hearted apples. The soluble solids content and hardness are obtained based on years of analysis by the Aksu Food Safety Inspection Center. Contaminant requirements follow GB 2762, and pesticide residues must comply with GB 2763. Harvesting time and methods are determined based on years of planting experience. 2. Packaging and transportation are optimized through experimental research and practical studies. Apples weighing over 20 kg per box are prone to mechanical damage to lower-layer apples, and excessive weight may lead to poor ventilation in pre-cooling and refrigeration chambers, resulting in browning of the apples. 3. Pre-cooling and transportation are set to no more than 24 hours from harvest, based on research by Xinjiang Agricultural University. Timely storage can delay the onset of the fruit's respiration peak, maintain the quality of ice-sugar-hearted apples, and extend their shelf life. 4. Preparation of pre-cooling facilities follows practical experience, with disinfectant selection and dosage referencing GB/T 8559. Pre-cooling time limits, methods, and key technical parameters are determined based on local cold storage surveys. 5. 1-MCP treatment is based on data from the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period and laboratory experiments. Apples treated with 1.0 μL/L fumigation retain their quality and flavor better during storage. 6. Storage temperature and humidity are optimized based on long-term experiments by the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and surveys of Aksu cold storage enterprises. Storage at -1°C to 1°C slows down apple hardness loss, reduces electrolyte leakage, and minimizes core browning, effectively extending shelf life and maintaining product quality. 7.
