Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of composite grounding rods (hereinafter referred to as grounding rods). This standard applies to grounding rods used for grounding protection in fields such as electric power, radio and television, postal and telecommunications, petroleum, chemical industry, construction, defense projects, meteorology, and seismology. This standard does not apply to grounding electrodes formed on-site using metal materials and resistance-reducing materials.
