Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, specification marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and marking for dyed silk twined yarns.
This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of dyed silk twined yarns with a twist of 2,000 twists/m or less, using raw silk of 20 or fewer strands, with a nominal fineness of 49 den (54.4 dtex) or less per strand, which are wound and reeled into spools after dyeing processing.
