Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types, components, models, schematic diagrams and basic parameters, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-pressure water jet sandblasting (bead blasting) cleaning devices for steel surfaces. This standard applies to high-pressure water jet sandblasting (bead blasting) cleaning devices that use high-pressure water with a rated pressure of 30MPa to 60MPa as the power source, and sand particles or steel beads as the medium, primarily for cleaning the surfaces of strip steel (strips, thin coils), plates, pipes, wires, and profiles (I-beams, channel steels, angle steels) (e.g., removing scale and oxide skin). Other steel surface cleaning devices can also be used as a reference for this standard.
