Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for the laser scanning mobile measurement of highways, including terms, principles, preparation for operations, data collection, data preprocessing, product production, quality inspection, and other aspects. This document is applicable to the laser scanning measurement work in the survey, design, and informatization stages of new construction and modification/expansion projects of highways in Sichuan Province. The laser scanning measurement work in the construction, management, and operation and maintenance stages of highway projects, as well as other similar projects, can be implemented with reference to this document.
