Scope

This part of GB/T 29493 specifies the method for determining the content of diisocyanate monomers using gas chromatography.
This part is applicable to the determination of the content of diisocyanate monomers in polyurethane resins or their prepared solutions, which are synthesized from toluene diisocyanate (TDI), hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), and other types of diisocyanate monomers, and used as coating materials.
