Scope

This procedure is applicable to the verification of dial-gauge and digital-display wire force gauges (hereinafter referred to as force gauges) with a load not exceeding 25 kN, which are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired. The steel wires to be tested include cold-drawn low-carbon steel wires with diameters of 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, and 7 mm, cold-drawn low-alloy steel wires, high-strength steel wires, and cold-rolled ribbed steel bars.
