Scope

Main technical content: 5.2.2 Seed quality The seed quality shall comply with the quality indicators for high-quality celery seeds specified in GB 16715.5, i.e., purity ≥ 95%, specific purity ≥ 97%, germination rate ≥ 96%, and moisture content ≤ 8%. 5.2.3 Seed disinfection 5.2.3.1 For disinfection, soak the seeds in water at a constant temperature of 48°C for 30 minutes while continuously stirring, then remove and soak them in cold water. 5.2.3.2 Soak the seeds in cold water for 24 hours. During the soaking process, rinse them several times to facilitate water absorption.
