Scope
This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber reinforced polyamide-6,6 special materials.
This standard applies to glass fiber reinforced polyamide-6,6 color materials formed by melt blending with polyamide-6,6 resin as the matrix, adding glass fiber and/or flame retardants and/or flame retardant synergists and other processing aids. Polyamide-6,6 resin refers to the homopolymer of terephthalic acid and adipic acid, or its copolymer with a small amount of other monomers.
This standard does not apply to non-glass fiber reinforced modified polyamide-6,6 materials such as mineral fillers.
