Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, labeling, transportation, storage, and shelf life for the cosmetic preservatives metazachlor and metamizole chloride mixed with magnesium chloride and magnesium nitrate.
This standard applies to cosmetic preservatives that use metazachlor and metamizole chloride as active ingredients and magnesium nitrate and a small amount of magnesium chloride produced by the reaction as stabilizers. This preservative is mainly made from N, N'-dimethyldithiocarbamate and obtained by chlorination and cyclization.
