Basic Information
Scope
Main Technical Content: 4.2 Environmental Conditions 4.2.1 The average annual temperature is approximately 16.3°C, with an annual sunshine duration exceeding 2,000 hours. The soil pH ranges from 4.3 to 6.3, and the soil organic matter content is ≥2%. The irrigation water meets Class II surface water quality standards. 4.2.2 The paddy fields are relatively flat, with a cultivation layer ≥14 cm thick and medium to high fertility. They are convenient for irrigation and drainage, less susceptible to water and drought disasters, relatively concentrated and clustered, and far from factories and mines. 5 Planting Models The planting models include oilseed–rice, shrimp–rice, and winter idle fields–single-season rice. 6 Variety Range 6.1 Varieties suitable for Huoqiu's ecological conditions, with high yield and stable production, strong disease resistance, good taste, and high quality for medium- and late-season rice. The variety quality meets the requirements of NY/T 593, and regular variety replacement is recommended. 6.2 Varieties with good comprehensive resistance to diseases such as rice blast and rice sheath blight, and resistance to pests like the two-striped rice borer, rice leafhopper, and rice leaf roller. 7 Crop Rotation Arrangement Based on the length of the variety's growth period, appropriate sowing periods are arranged to avoid high temperatures in August during the rice heading and flowering stages. 8 Production Management 8.1 Seedling Cultivation 8.1.1 Seedling cultivation methods include factory-based substrate seedling cultivation or moist field seedling cultivation. For field seedling cultivation, level the field, sow the seeds and cover them with soil after planting. The seedling-to-transplant ratio should be 1:30 for manual planting and 1:80–1:100 for machine-sown seedlings. Machine-sown seedlings should be 18–20 days old, while field-sown seedlings should be 25–30 days old. 8.1.2 Seed drying and soaking Before sowing, expo
