Scope

Main technical content: 1. **Boundaries of ecological agricultural production units**: The boundaries of production units should be clearly defined, with ownership and management rights well-defined. The ecological agricultural production management system must have been established and implemented in accordance with this standard. 2. **Natural cultivation**: - (1) In ecological agricultural production systems, organisms and their derivatives obtained through natural cultivation methods should be introduced or used in the production of ecological agricultural products (ecological ingredients), including plants, animals, microorganisms, seeds, pollen, sperm, eggs, other reproductive materials, fertilizers, soil amendments, plant protection products, plant growth regulators, animal feed, animal growth regulators, veterinary drugs, and other agricultural inputs. - (2) In production units where both ecological and non-ecological agricultural production coexist, conventional production areas should also introduce or use organisms obtained through natural cultivation methods. - (3) Irradiation techniques should not be used in ecological agricultural production. 3. **Input materials**: - (1) Full consideration should be given to the biodiversity and ecological balance of production units, protecting and cultivating natural predators to establish a natural ecological balance system within the production unit, thereby reducing the use of external input materials. - (2) It is recommended to prioritize the use of plant-based, animal-based, microbial-based, and mineral-based soil amendments, animal feed, and plant protection products. All input materials permitted under the *Organic Products* standard (GB/T 19630) may be used.
