Scope

This standard specifies the classification, grading, and marking of silicon nitride ceramic powders, as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to silicon nitride ceramic powders prepared by the nitriding method of silicon powder, with a nitrogen content not less than 37% and a maximum particle size of ≤40 μm. Products prepared by other preparation processes can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
