To overcome the recent degradation of pear varieties and actively cultivate new varieties while preserving the advantages of existing varieties is an essential means to ensure the sustainable development of Korla fragrant pears. The main techniques for cultivating grafted pears include planting Du pear seedlings, preparing grafted pear seedlings before grafting, selecting the grafting period and method for grafting pear seedlings and pollination trees, and shaping and pruning to cultivate a main trunk shape for grafted pears.
