Scope

This standard specifies the basic configuration principles, export methods, lockout logic, and related circuit and equipment requirements for the relay protection of power generation motors, main transformers, and excitation transformers in pumped storage power stations. This standard applies to the design of relay protection for power generation motor-transformer units in pumped storage power stations equipped with reversible pump-turbine generator sets with a single-machine capacity of 150 MW or more, and power generation motors with circuit breakers and phase-shifting switches installed at the motor end. Pumped storage power stations with a single-machine capacity of less than 150 MW or other main wiring methods may refer to this standard for implementation.
