Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of the chelating ability of chelating agents in textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries. This standard is applicable to the determination of the chelating ability of chelating agents such as organic polyphosphoric acid salts, high molecular weight polycarboxylic acids and their salts in textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries; it is also applicable to the determination of the chelating ability of chelating agents such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), N-hydroxyethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (HEDTA), diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) and their salts.
