Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of solvent-based acrylic resin coatings.
This standard applies to solvent-based single-component topcoats with acrylate resin as the main film-forming substance. The products are mainly used for decoration and protection of various metal and plastic surfaces.
This standard does not apply to radiation-curing acrylic resin coatings.
