Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of resin-based artificial stone slabs (hereinafter referred to as "slabs"). This standard applies to artificial stone slabs for architectural decoration processed with resin or polymer as the binder, but does not apply to artificial stone slabs processed with a mixture of cement and resin cement as the binder.
