Scope

This standard specifies the design guidelines for the fuel oil system and its components of emergency diesel generators in pressurized water reactors, including the system's functions, system classification, process design requirements, equipment design requirements, testing requirements, inspection and maintenance requirements, etc. This standard applies to the design of all mechanical equipment, electrical instruments, and control equipment from the main fuel oil storage tank to the interface (including the interface) with the diesel generator system, but does not include equipment directly installed on the diesel generator body. The design of the fuel oil system for non-safety-level diesel generators and other reactor types' diesel generator fuel oil systems can also refer to and use this standard.
