Scope

Scope: This document stipulates the environmental requirements, farming processes, quality standards, and documentation and recordkeeping requirements for "Xinjiang Quality" farming products. This document covers livestock and poultry farming, aquaculture, and beekeeping. This document applies to internal self-evaluations and external third-party certifications of producers and operators of "Xinjiang Quality" farming products within the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Main technical content: The "Xinjiang Quality" regional public brand is established within the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, leveraging its unique ecological environment, cultural heritage, and production and processing methods. Through regional public industry product cultivation and alliance certification, it voluntarily certifies products that meet certification standards and technical specifications, representing Xinjiang's advantageous industries and specialty products, and conveys a high-quality and advanced image of health, greenness, and safety. The "Xinjiang Quality" series of group standards are developed based on the fundamental principle of "standard-led, quality-driven". Organized by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government, industry experts, associations, and enterprises participate in the process. After comparing and analyzing domestic and international technical indicators and parameters, the standards are compiled using process control and continuous improvement management concepts, integrating a series of technical requirements based on management elements and specific product technical specifications tailored to industry characteristics. The development and implementation of the "Xinjiang Quality" series of group standards help enterprises improve their internal management levels, enhance product quality, and increase the market competitiveness of high-quality Xinjiang products.
