Scope
This standard specifies the chemical analysis methods for different forms of sulfur in gypsum and gypsum products, including sulfites, sulfides, elemental sulfur, and sulfates.
This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfites, sulfides, elemental sulfur, and sulfates in gypsum raw materials such as natural gypsum, flue gas desulfurization gypsum, phosphogypsum, and fluorgypsum, as well as in gypsum products.
