This standard applies to the determination of six phthalates (dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, and dodecyl phthalate) in the organized emissions of waste gas from fixed pollution sources. If validated, this standard is also applicable to the determination of other phthalates.
