Scope
This standard specifies the emergency response positions and responsibilities of all crew members when a ship experiences an oil spill.
This standard applies to oil tankers with a gross tonnage of 150 tons or more and non-oil tankers with a gross tonnage of 400 tons or more. Other ships and offshore facilities may refer to and implement it accordingly.
