Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of mechanical door locks for electrical and electronic equipment cabinets (hereinafter referred to as mechanical door locks or products), relevant data and information of the products, normal use, installation and transportation conditions, general requirements, mechanical performance requirements, key interchangeability requirements, plating coating requirements, safety requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc.
This standard applies to mechanical door locks with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC, a frequency of not more than 1,000 Hz, or a direct current of not more than 1,500 V.
This standard does not apply to mechanical door locks with anti-theft functions.
